TLDR: Nib on new Narwhal pen clogged by shimmer ink.

Yesterday I went to the #CaliforniaPenShow and had a blast. I've never seen so many #fountainpens in one place! The friend I went with said that he's never seen it that crowded before. It seems that this hobby of ours is on the rise here in North America!

I bought a Narwhal Schuylkill with a medium nib there but after filling it up with a shimmer ink (Tono & Lims, Pillars of Creation - Webb) it's been skipping badly. I disassembled it and there is clearly some particles stuck in the nib. I've done my best to soak it in water and clean it out but I've had no success and I am unable to write properly with it.

The way I see it I have three options on how to proceed:

1. (Send it in to Nahvalur) I do have a warranty card that came with my purchase, but I have a feeling I won't be covered as I believe it was the ink I chose that likely caused this issue. Plus I'm aware of the warranty issue Doodlebug had and wouldn't want to waste my time reaching out to them if they're not going to help.
2. (Continue trying to fix it) I feel like I've exhausted most methods available to me and i wouldn't want to buy anything for a singular repair. A friend has an ultrasonic cleaner I could probably borrow (he hasn't used it for a while though) but I doubt how effective that would be.
3. (Buy a replacement) This is the option I am leaning towards the most as it means that I would be able to customize my pen! There are a bunch of colorful nibs that Nahvalur offers on their website, but I can also use any other JoWo 6 nib. If I go this route I would want something in a non-steel color, and not in need of tuning.

Feedback and advice would be greatly appreciated.
